As Our Hearts Reach Out

I was recently talking with some friends about the terrible quake and tsunami that hit Japan. Watching the coverage is heartbreaking and I know many of us have been wondering what we can do to help.

Unfortunately, there are always spammers who try to take advantage of a crisis or disaster, so be wary of anyone sending you an e-mail soliciting money.

If you would like to help, here are some great ways that are legit:

The Red Cross has sprung into action. You can donate via The Red Cross HERE. You can also text RED CROSS to 90999 to donate $10 from your phone.

The Salvation Army is also getting involved. You can contribute to their efforts, HERE.

This site HERE has quite of few suggestions of other ways to donate, as well. I know we will all be keeping the people of this devastated region in our prayers.
