this weekend, my boyfriend and i went to the farmers market up in salt lake. it was the grand opening for summer 2011. we went with his brother and his girlfriend. we all had a really good time looking at all of the delicious handmade foods, home grown produce and the hand crafted items. it's always fun just to walk around and see new things.
there was one really cool booth that had these really nice cement potters and some little succulents growing inside. they were really simple, but quite cute. if they weren't sooooo pricey and i hadn't put together my own pot garden a few weeks ago with my boyfriend, i would have considered it.
while we were in salt lake, we also had the opportunity to visit a really cool plant shop located close by. we walked in and they had so many amazing plants. it was just fun to walk around. see the huge, tall, amazing plants. then to see the carnivorous plants. and the plants that produce fruit. it's crazy to see how many different plants there are.
we then ended up going hiking on sunday. spending part of our day outside is so refreshing and so much fun. it's amazing the things that make up the earth. things that are all natural. things that are beautiful.
