Instant Replay: Instagram Edition

I am constantly sharing little sneak peeks of my day/life via Instagram, and I forget that side doesn't always make it over here to the blog. They post to my Twitter and Tumblr every time, but I thought it'd be nice to go back through my phone for the past 2 weeks and share things that I've been up to! Here you go! xo

1-4: My new morning routine over the past few weeks. Wake up, make breakfast or venture out for coffee with Mike, write to do lists for ourselves, and start the day off with fresh air and sunshine. 5: Treated myself to my all time favorite perfume from Anthropologie (I always switch back and forth between Oceane and Rose)

1: New Jeffrey Campbells (!!!) 2: Ukulele practice. 3. Learning a sweet song with Mike. 4. Pretty new home things. 5. Yummiest lunch ever.

1. Killing time at work. 2. Peached Whale + Yuengling. 3. Painting my nails. 4. New perfume (smells like grapefruit!) 5. Playing a pretty (heavy!) deer-neh-neer at Guitar Center.

1. GLO teeth whitening device from Sephora. 2. Me playing with my GLO haha! 3. City and Colour on this past Thursday. 4. Lazy Georgia. 5. Lazy Pipkin.

1-5: Silly and sweet pups. Always.

Mike and I have been taking a few Instax photos of each other when we take outfit shots. It's always trial and error with the sun. Even if we over or underexpose the image, we roll with it anyway. It kind of makes our collection more fun! Here are three from recent outfit adventures!

The top one is my all time favorite, and the picture is currently my desktop background. He's so cute!

Instant Replay: The Past Week

Good morning Honeybees! Mike and I are about to set off on a fun Oktoberfest adventure a few hours from our house and then I'll head into work tonight. We've got our heart set on finding some awesome pieces today so keep your fingers crossed for us! Here's a few photos from last weekend that I haven't shared yet! Instant Reply: Friends Do Fun Stuff Edition

** I'm currently enjoying our little vacation time in Chicago with Chris and Susannah! This post has been scheduled to post while I'm away! In the last edition of Instant Reply I overloaded you with way too many pictures of my dogs. Do you hate me for it? Now I'm going to share Friendly Fun Time with some of my favorite people! I often go without blogging too detailed events with my "IRL" friends simply because I don't like to exploit anyone or, I don't know, invade their privacy. Not everyone signs up to share their life with the entire interwebz. But without further ado... Friends!

First up is the Shark Week party we threw on the last day of July! I don't think I ever shared photos of it on the blog (!!!) so here they are! Maybe this will inspire you to throw a Shark Week party next year! We had people over, had cocktails and finger foods. Everyone signed an Oceana petition to ban shark finning in our waters, too! It was productive and education, and best of all: FUN! 

(This is "Ocean Water"... 1 bottle Bicardi Limon, 2 Liter of 7up, and a few drops of blue food coloring! It was delicious!)

Other fun friend activities have included: Bowling, Camping/Canoeing/Cabrewing (and be greeted by a brown recluse spider in our tent at 7:30am), Roadtrip to the World's Longest Yardsale (where we acquired Gertrude), etc. You know... typical fun friend things.

(I spotted this sign on the interstate and made Mike drive an extra 8 miles just to take a picture of it. Bean Pot is our affectionate nickname for Susannah!)

(We went for a 20 mile 2-day canoe trip. I've never been so happy to be on land!)

What are some of your favorite things to do with friends? Anyone know of any fun putt putt golf or go kart places in/around Nashville?! That's totally on my list! We keep saying we're going to play laser tag soon! And Susannah promised us Medieval Times in Chicago! Have you ever been?!
