so i have been searching high and low for a new bag that i could carry my books to school in. i'm only taking a few courses this semester just to get my feet back in the door. having only a few courses only makes sense that i would only have a few books. the only bag that i have that would fit my books but not be too small, is a backpack that is quite large in size. i decided that i needed to find something a tad bit smaller so i didn't look silly taking my backpack with 1 item in it.

so my boyfriend and myself ended up finding a really unique messenger bag for himself but i was not as lucky. this past weekend we went to colorado to see my grandpa. while we were there, we found my grandpas old suit case. it was old and torn up and he actually has replaced it with a new, less beat up version. i thought it would be perfect for my laptop and my few books as it is so unique and has such character.

i asked my grandma if i could have it, and she let me take it home. it is gorgeous. and i am excited to have a piece of my grandpa with me everywhere i go.

i am so excited that summer is here. short shorts. short skirts. short dresses. short sleeves! i LOVE the weather and the cute clothes to go along with it. but you can't just have cute clothes! you have to have fun accessories, too! so i have found some cute necklaces for summer that all have been found on etsy.

I Got A Bike

so this weekend i went and got a new bike!!!!! it's so cute. my boyfriend and i ended up just going to wal-mart just to check them out and see what options that they had. i ended up falling completely in love with a cute little cruiser/mountain bike. it's perfect.

we were debating whether we should spend the money on both of us purchasing bikes, but we decided that it would be good exercise and just fun to have bikes so we could go riding together.

we went on our first bike ride last night and it was a blast. i do have to say that not being on a bike for quite some time, it definitely wore out my legs and my glutes! but it was so much fun! i hope to be able to take this bike with me wherever i go. as a method of transportation. it's going to be perfect during the summer months. saving money and getting good exercise.♥ 

ps. we got bike locks and even silly helmets. but 'better safe than sorry' i always say!

summerrrrr ♥

i am so thrilled for summer. i am excited for the warm weather, the cute clothes that i get to wear because of the warm weather, ice cream, swimming and bicycles.

my friend ashley recently got a new bike and it is the cutest thing ever. i too want to get one so that i can ride to work and just go out for a ride every now and then. i am just trying to find the perfect bicycle. ♥

tomorrow is pay day!! i am hoping that i can put some money towards the new outfit that i have been speaking about. i still can't decide where i want to go, either urban outfitters or anthropologie...

new suit

i am completely in love with this amazing swim suit from jcrew. this weekend i am going to vegas for the first time and i am super excited. i'm thinking that for the mini-vacation. i am going to need this suit - so... we'll see how things go, but i'm hoping that i can get my little hands on this suit!! wish me luck! ♥
