I've never seen something so cute in my entire life. Mike showed this to me last week and I'm kind of obsessed. The brainchild behind Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp, Marcel The Shell is holy adorable. The voice, the script, the fact it's a stop-motion... Ah! I really wish they had created more like the original plan. Until then I'll just constantly watch and re-watch Episode 1. Aren't you in love?

I stumbled across this "Regional Dialect Meme" on Tumblr some time last week I believe and I knew I wanted to do it, but I've been in pajamas or looking a bit rough while we move (and had company) so I haven't really had time. We met with Mike's parents for dinner last night so we were dressed and ready with nothing to do afterwards so we opted to give it a go! We recorded it a whopping three times to get all my jitters (I don't know why talking into a computer screen weirds me out so much!) and here's the final product. Probably lots of weird words and faces galore, so just go with it! I didn't watch myself so I'm sure I'm rockin' some wonky eyes and an unflattering facial spot or seven! :P

I love Sundays. I love knowing that I can sleep in, not have to work, clean the house [!!!], hang out, catch up on Etsy orders, etc. [The !!! for clean the house was so true! I love cleaning! I can't wait to just tear this house apart to day and tidy it all back up. Okay.. done gushing!]. This YouTube steam is full of hilarity. I don't know if it's a troll or a real person [obvz she IS real, but you get it..]... but c'mon... you can't deny it's funny! Apparently she's a total hit online and I just didn't know! :P
While I couldn't personally make it out, apparently our little YouTuber wrote a very offensive thing on her face and it was brought to my attention. I went ahead and took the video down because I do not agree with or condone the use of the word she allegedly wrote on her face. I know we're all adults here and we have our own minds, but I apologize to anyone who may have been offended! I'm sure you all know that the views and ideas of people that may make their way on the blog in no way reflect my own. :)

I've pretty much exhausted my "favorites" list on YouTube so finding great videos has been a little troublesome for me. This first one is probably one of my favorite EVER! Someone left it in my Formspring and I'm simply obsessed with it. SO GOOD. Upon further investigation, I found that this Steve Kardynal guy has a plethora of hilarious videos. This entire week's feature is devoted to this funny funny man. You'll love it.
Here are a few that were hiding back in the corners of my YouTube "favorites" page. The one with the little girl and boy always cracks me up because she makes the most exaggerated dance moves and he goes as far as to wear similar things and even make his room/surroundings match hers. So silly! Tina always tickled me because I really liked her videos (and not in that making-fun-of-her way...). They were just really entertaining! The cuppycake boy is so stinking cute!

This (^) is my all-time favorite ever probably. I've watched it SO.MANY.TIMES this week... it's almost embarrassing. I want it to play 24/7 in my house. There's something so profoundly ridiculously about each and every one of them, I just love it! If I'm not mistaken (which I may be!), Nowiy God means New Year in Russian? (If you can provide the rest of the translated lyrics, I'd be so grateful!) Also, I think the 2 older guys must not be in the actual "band"? I wish I could figure all of this out! They're not in any of the other Steklovata music videos.
