Weekend Moving

this weekend i am moving into a cute little condo in north orem and i am so excited!! i want to start over and get some really nice furniture and some cute decor to decorate our new little place. i am in LOVE with the above picture and have bedding that resembles the colors. all that is missing is that GORGEOUS and completely perfect black tree decal. i want it!

DIY WEEK BEGINS! with Instax Ornaments!

This is going to be the most simple and ridiculous DIY ever. In fact, it's simplicity barely warrants it to boast the title of a DIY. But it still does and it's a fabulous one at that. 

Basically, alll you need is: Instax Photos [or any instant photo], Ornament Hooks [purchased at Target for $2 per 100 count], and Scotch Tape!

Guess what you do now? Yep. You lay those bad boys [photos] face down, take a hook and tape that sucker right to the top center of the photo! Then you hang on your tree. and voila! The perfect use of Instax photos if you're like us [and by us I mean we have more than we know what to do with], and it's a great way to make your Christmas tree that much more special. We're in love with ours.

Told you it was simple! 

Btw, this is our first Christmas tree together! We're starting a tradition where we buy one ornament every year which represents the year in review. Perfect considering our anniversary is at the beginning of December! I'm so very excited! [And I'll share it once we finally pick it out!]

My Room

i am really excited to post these pictures. a few weeks ago i purchased some new bedding for the bed! and it was so lovely and so cute and i adored it. i got home, washed it, and dressed my mattress. 

but...

i did not have a bed frame for the last one got ruined in the move. soooooooooooo this past weekend, i went and got a new frame for the bed as well. and you'll just have to tell me what you think of the renovation. enjoy!

Giant Paper Clip Radiators

how perfect would these massive paper clip radiators be in any house? i think beyond perfection! found on a fellow blogger's blog, i completely fell in love with them. they are so chic and gorgeous. you can find them here.

but seriously? in a bathroom. near a pool or hot tub to keep your towels warm? these not only do a great thing, but they look so great!♥

when i have a home of my own to decorate, these will definitely be present. and then i'll have pictures of my own to share! until then, enjoy these!

Simple White

i love the simplicity of these pictures. they are gorgeous. i would love to have a clean crisp looking home. instead, i have decided to make it chaotic and crazy. which i love too! but sometimes, pictures like these make me want to redecorate my living space.

i will soon post images of my own home and you can see, it's a lot different than these pictures. it's still simple, in my mind, but it has a LITTLE bit more chaos thrown in. with 2 cats and little foster kittens, i guess it's bound to be crazy. but i love it. most days, i wouldn't want it any other way.

how do you keep your living space? clean and crisp? or crazy and chaotic? ♥

Clouds

Wouldn't it be lovely to wake up in the morning in a room like this!??!??! How adorable is this idea? Hanging little cotton clouds above your bed in your bedroom. This would be perfect for any bedroom, whether you're 45 or 4-5. I love it.

Car Tops ♣

if i had a junk of a car, i would do this. i think that this is excellent. Iit's fun and creative and it decorates the inside of a car. nobody outside has to see it. you could write secrets, poems, places you've been, etc...i think it's genius. one day, i plan to purchase an ol jalopy and do this to it. the car in question should be a '67 corvette.

i will then take my own photos and add them to this here blog. be on the lookout friends, it's going to happen.
