Christmas Tablescape with Italian Countryside! Welcome to the 120th Tablescape Thursday!

Our Deck the Halls party was so much fun! With 485 holiday links to view, there was no lack for inspiration! Thanks to everyone who linked up a post showing their holiday decorating!

Tonight I am sharing another Christmas tablescape. I played around with two centerpieces, one with a Baldwin Brass Lantern and Candlesticks and another with fresh Rosemary topiaries and the BB lantern. Both centerpieces have Russian Nesting Dolls that I've collected over the years. Let me know which centerpiece you liked best...I couldn't decide. :)

Topiaries are fresh rosemary...and I loved the way their fragrance filled the dining room.

Without the topiaries...

Dinnerware is Italian Countryside, paired with their holiday collection...beautiful!

Mikasa Holiday plates:

French Countryside Ruby Goblets are from Mikasa. They have a subtle swirl design...sooo pretty! The wine glasses are Spode, Christmas Tree.

Flatware is Towle, pattern is King Richard.

I like using the gold and silver jingle bell napkin rings when I have gold and silver accents/colors in a table setting. It helps tie the two together.

Without topiaries...just using a Baldwin Brass Lantern and Candlesticks. The candles are from Colonial Candle.

I love the little nesting dolls. The history of nesting dolls goes back to Russia where they were called Matryoshka dolls, babushka dolls or Russian nesting dolls. Five dolls nest into the large one on the far left in this photo.

You can see the smallest of this set of six (6) on the right side of this pic. The brass lantern is Baldwin Brass and was collected 15+ year ago.

A few more...these are nesting Santas. It's so much fun to open them to see how many are inside.

I bought these strings of gold and red beads years ago for a project, but never got around to making it. Now I have no clue what I planned to use them for...do you ever do that? Please say, YES. LOL They have been stuffed away in a box for years. I pulled them all out today and put them inside this crystal beverage dispenser to enjoy until I fill it with this Champagne Punch.

Looking forward to viewing your beautiful tablescapes! Julia at Hooked on Houses is having a Holiday Party today. Stop by Hooked on Houses and check out all the great links or join the party!

Awesome Giveaway from Mikasa: Service for 8! Welcome to the 117th Tablescape Thursday!

Hi Everyone!

Have you been wishing for some beautiful holiday china? I'm not posting a tablescape this evening. Instead, I have an unbelievably awesome Give-a-Way from Mikasa! This is the biggest giveaway of china BNOTP has ever hosted!

Okay, hold onto your hats and make sure you're sitting down! Ready? Mikasa knows that you'll probably have the whole family over for Christmas so they are generously giving away Service for 8 of beautiful Italian Countryside dinnerware. But that's not all! They are also giving away 8 Italian Countryside Holiday Salad Plates to go with it for your Christmas dinner!!! May I enter my own contest, please!!! ;) I wish!

Isn't it gorgeous?! I love the little border around the outer edge...finishes it off perfectly. As I always say, if you can only buy one set of dishes, make them white. With just a simple change of the salad plate, you can create a completely new table setting many times over. This would be perfect for everyday or even for a more formal occasion.

Imagine on Christmas Day sitting down to dinner with Italian Countryside decked out in these gorgeous salad plates! Wow! So again, not only does the giveaway include 8 place settings of Italian Countryside but the winner will also receive 8 holiday accent salad plates, too! Awesome!

So how do you enter this fabulous Give-a-Way sponsored by Mikasa?

How to Enter:

To enter this giveaway, just visit the Mikasa Dining Facebook page and write on their wall saying what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving. :) Mikasa asked that you be sure to mention you are “Visiting from BNOTP.” Please be sure to stop back by this post and leave a comment letting me know you entered the giveaway since I'll be using a random number generator. Please note: You do not have to be a blogger to enter this giveaway!

For a second entry,
Post a photo of either your current Thanksgiving table or a past Thanksgiving table on the Mikasa Dining Facebook wall with a caption that says “My Thanksgiving Table – BNOTP.” Please be sure to leave a separate comment letting me know you posted a pic of one of your Thanksgiving tables on their wall...because that will count as your second entry.

You may find it easier to write on the wall and post the photo, then come back here and leave two separate comments. But please do be sure to leave a comment for each entry because as always, I'll be using a Random Number Generator to select the winner.

Please be sure to enter by Tuesday, November 23rd at midnight since the winner will be announced next Wednesday, November 24th for Tablescape Thursday. I'll be sharing my Thanksgiving tablescape for our next Tablescape Thursday. :) (Please note, this Give-a-Way is open to US residents only.)

Looking forward to viewing your beautiful tablescapes!

Fall Dining with Feathered Friends: Welcome to the 115th Tablescape Thursday!

I started this tablescape on the porch a week or so ago when the weather was still in the 70's. By the time I took pics today, it was rainy and somewhat chilly out. I had so much fun playing though, I forgot all about the dreary weather.

As you view this tablescape, imagine it with woven or ratan chargers in a warm brown. Unfortunately, I didn't have any but that would have been just perfect. :)

Mikasa provided the beautiful china I'm using today. You'll probably recognize the pieces I used for my centepiece from the summer view of my porch hutch.

I removed the lids from the coffee/teapot and cookie jar and placed fresh mums inside.

Hope you don't mind...our feathered friends have decided to join us. :)

They were originally ornaments and I removed their tiny hooks.

They have little clips underneath so they could be secured to a branch. I used the clips to secure them to the napkins.

I loved their long feathery tails.

China is Mikasa, pattern is Daylight. First the bowl...

Salad plate...

And the dinner plate...

This pattern also comes with cups/saucers. I love the solid green saucers.

It's almost as if the vine on the plates grew right across the table and onto the Ma Maison centerpiece.

Dinner, Salad and Bowl were provided by Mikasa, Pattern is, Daylight
Cookie Jar, Tea Pot and Creamer/Sugar are Tabletops Unlimited, Designed by Dario Farrucci, Pattern is Ma Maison (found at HomeGoods a few years back)
Stemware: Pier 1, 1-2 years ago
Faux Bamboo flatware: Big Lots (I think)
Napkins and Napkin Rings and Candle Holders: Kohls, 2-3 years ago
Bird Ornaments: Garden Ridge
