A Kitchen Renovation! Welcome to the 40th Metamorphosis Monday!

Before we dive into this week's Metamorphosis Monday, I wanted to share a fabulous site that has more porch eye-candy and porch resource information, than you can shake a pumpkin at! Whether you currently have a porch, are thinking of adding a porch or just love to look at great porches, you are going to love Front Porch Ideas and More!

Front Porch Ideas and More is currently hosting a fabulous contest for fall. To enter, just submit pic(s) of your porch decorated for autumn. The lucky winner will receive a $50 Plow and Hearth Gift Certificate...awesome! Plus, the winning porch will be featured on their home page for a whole week! Wow! Click HERE to read more about the Autumn Porch Decorating Contest at Front Porch Ideas and More.

A couple of weeks ago, you saw the pic below when I posted Bonnie's beautiful fall tablescape for a Tablescape Thursday. Well, I couldn't keep my eyes off her gorgeous kitchen just visible through those pretty arched doors. So, I asked Bonnie if she'd give us a tour of her kitchen...and...Yipee...she said, yes! :-)

Of course, if you are a FAN of BNOTP on Facebook, you knew this already, right? You'll find the Facebook Fan link posted on my sidebar. I am really enjoying having a Facebook page for BNOTP because it's giving me a quick way to update you on any neat shopping finds (before they are sold out) or even news regarding MM or TT each week.

Thank-you, Bonnie for welcoming us into your beautiful home!

Here are some "Before" pics that Bonnie took through the windows when they were first looking at their home, prior to buying it.

Wait until you see the "After" waiting just through those doors!

Wow! Gorgeous! This is my idea of the perfect kitchen!

I adore a sunny, bright kitchen with white cabinetry...this is positively stunning! Do you see sweet Sophie? :-)

What an adorable face! Notice her reading literature. Is that a playbill? Perhaps she is getting ready for an outing to the theater? ;-)

Sweet Max..

Another sweet furry face...Goldie, was abandoned by neighbors who moved away and Bonnie and her husband took him in. Lucky kitty! Bonnie says Goldie is a fierce hunter! :-)

Love the huge bay window over the sink...

Aren't the topiaries just perfect there?! ~~~SIGH~~~ Do you like the color Bonnie painted her kitchen? It's Sherwin Williams #MC6661 in eggshell.

I am so drooling over that wonderful pumpkin tureen? Bonnie says it's a Fitz and Floyd piece she found at Tuesday Morning.

What a beautiful tiled backsplash and granite! I love the neutral colors...stay neutral, and as you change your decorative pieces seasonally, it will always work beautifully. Plus, you'll never tire of it. The range hood is fabulous! How about a little close up of that amazing stove?

The detailing on the hood and the corbels underneath are gorgeous! Bonnie, I am seriously coveting this kitchen! Love the fall wreath and harvest sign! The decorative piece above the stove and the ceramic pieces on the counter are from Horchow.

A view looking back into the dining room where we saw Bonnie's beautiful fall tablescape...

Notice the fall display in the cabinet there across the room...let's go take a closer look...

Great Halloween/Fall display!

Refrigerator, what refrigerator? :-) Love that you don't even notice it!

I asked Bonnie where she got her design idea for her kitchen. Bonnie said, "I just had it in my mind after looking at years of decorating magazines and books. We also had a wonderful cabinet maker to work with. I would sketch out what I wanted, he would build it, only better. The only change I would make if I had it to do over again, is that I would do mostly drawers."

The pretty dragonfly chair is part of Bonnie's breakfast area...we definitely NEED to see that area, too! :-)

Here's a "before" pic of Bonnie's dining room area showing the carpet she "inherited" when she bought her home.

Now look at Bonnie's beautiful dining room and breakfast area. Love all the fall color from the decorated chandeliers to the wonderful table linens. Can you just imagine Christmas time? Hint, hint! :-)

Does this give you ideas for decorating your chandeliers?

A beautiful way to display your pitchers...what a great collection! Bonnie found most of her pitchers at TJ Maxx. I asked her about this fabulous shelf and mirror and she told me the shelf is made of tin ceiling tiles and was purchased from a craftsman on eBay...many years ago. The mirror is from Ballard Designs.

Bonnie, thank you so much for giving us a tour of your gorgeous kitchen...it is truly a dream kitchen in every way!

Bonnie shared pics of her "dish" room with me...and it is fabulous! I'll be posting those for a future Tablescape Thursday...you will not want to miss that post! Everything is so beautifully organized...can't wait to share it!
