as the summer dies down, and fall is right around the corner, i have been pulling out my little scarves, cardigans, tights and sweaters. although i don't enjoy the weather much during the winter-time, the clothes that come along with it, are amazing.
i love just sitting on the couch, watching my favorite tv series sipping tea or better yet, hot chocolate!! mmmmm! i am slowing warming up to the idea of fall. ♥
the one thing that i remember about the fall from being younger, is all of the lovely decorations that my mom would have around the house. i think it would be easy to say that fall is her favorite season. she would decorate the inside and the outside of the house. it wouldn't be like that trashy spiderwebs and fake spiders all over. it would be adorable.
she is such a crafty person. she and my dad would make wood crafts together and have them around the inside and outside of the house. the outside is perfect though. my parents have probably somewhere near 100 trees on the lot they live in. it's always so pretty in the fall, when the leaves change colors.
so although i'm sad that the warmer weather is taking a vacation, the more i think about fall coming, it's alright. it's going to be good. but how do you all feel...?
