These photos were from yesterday when Mike and I adventured out around the country. We had a yummy lunch and then we had a fun time doing a silly secret activity (that I'll blog about this week!). Then we headed off to take some photos. We're using a new 50mm/f1.8 lens on the camera so some of the photos are a bit blurry as it's manual focus and we haven't quite mastered it (but we love it! The depth of field is phenomenal!). I'm also a bit grumpy in these photos, and by a bit I mean really. I wasn't a fan of this outfit at all as it wasn't the least bit flattering but whatever, I wore it anyway. I've been feeling like I'm back in my style slump and even black cardigans can't pull me out of it! (I haven't worn it at all recently!).

Today is our 9 month anniversary! Nothing extravagant, I know, but it's nice to celebrate the small things! Someone asked me to make a post about our relationship and all that jazz so I'll be doing that later today at some point. I've done something similar in the past but I never pass up a good ol' chance to rehash the early days! :D
We're not sure what we're going to get into today but since I didnt have to work last night, we're pretty well rested. I'll be sure to take photos of whatever it is though because I'm bringing back the Daily Photo posts! (I promised to keep up with them when I moved back from NYC but I failed. eep! I've been feeling sort of lazy lately as a blogger!)
