Things I Love Thursday

Just a few things that I'm loving this week!

My Big Fat Healthy Butt blog by Amanda! It chronicles her life as a size 12 even though she's quite possibly one of the most healthy gals I've run across. It's an inspiring read whether you're comfortable at your current weight or not. She offers a lot of really valuable insight, and man, she's SO well written! Thanks to the anon in my FormSpring who passed this along to me!

Naked smoothies! I pretty much have one a day usually as breakfast or whatever. I'm hooked. I don't like the protein ones (way too gritty!) but I swear by Red Machine, Berry Blast and Strawberry Banana! Mike throws his vote behind Green Machine! So yummy and most of them are vegan, too! (I'm drinking a Strawberry Banana right now... 22 strawberries in this thing!) I love that they showcase how many of each fruit are inside the drinks!

This thing I love hails from Kayla's blog as she wrote about it the other day. These wonderful little efficiency apartments are in Indianapolis and apparently it's an old schoolhouse turned home! Ahh! I think it's a wonderful use of space and how to make a small area feel large. Plus, just imagine the view! And wrapping the railing with twinkle lights! I die!

Amanda Wachob at Dare Devil Tattoo (here in NYC, Lower East Side). This talented lady is booked about 5 months out and it's easy to see why. If I were going to be in NYC for a much more extended period (and could foot the $300/hour fee!) I'd be next in line to sport one of her incredible creations.

DIY home crafts! As we get ready to move into our new place, I know I'll need to be decorating on the cheap and obviously I love crafty things! I can do fabric bunting no problem, but I'm still on the hunt for some really great ways to spruce up a place with little-to-no furniture! What are some of your favorite DIY crafts? Do you have certain DIY blogs that you read (aside from the Red Velvet Art crew)? Please let a girl know! I have a few things up my sleeve to try in our new place and I will definitely document them as I do 'em and I'll share them for all of y'all here!

This HILARIOUS video! It may not be as funny to some, but I really enjoyed it.

What are you loving this week?

xoxo

PS; A lovely blog reader named Allison sent me an email this morning asking if I knew of any Boston-based blogs and bloggers as she will be moving there shortly! Sadly I couldn't think of any off the top of my head but I knew y'all would be the ticket to something fantastic! If you know, are, or read any sweet Boston-based blogs, feel free to share in the comments! I'm sure she'd be so grateful!
