Awesome Linking Tool by InLinkz! Welcome to the 66th Metamorphosis Monday!

New Linking Tool:
I'm trying something a little different this evening for linking up...it's a Picture Linky. It should be self-explanatory, so I don't think you'll have any problem. Just click on the blue "Add your link" button with the froggy face...you'll see it at the bottom of this post.

Please be sure to add your Permalink, not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name. Then just copy and paste the address that shows up in the address bar at the top, into the "url" box for the picture linky. You'll also need to put your e-mail address in, but don't worry, it will not be visible to anyone.

Metamorphosis Monday:
Since I don't have a "Before and After" in my home to show you this week, I thought I'd give you a little information about the new "picture linky" I'm using for this Met Monday. I used this link tool for Tablescape Thursday last week, and it was a HUGE hit with both the participants (bloggers) and BNOTP readers, as well.

The information I'll share today should prove helpful if you are a blogger who hosts blog parties from time to time...or if are a blogger linking to a party where this system is being used.

The picture linky is called InLinkz and you can learn more about InLinkz by clicking on the InLinkz logo shown at the bottom of this post right where it says, "Link Tool by InLinkz.com." Click on that and it will take you to InLinkz where you can register to use this linking system for a future blog party.

InLinkz has a couple of features I adore...features I haven't seen on some of the other linking systems.

1. If you are a participating blogger and you make a mistake when you enter your information, you simply click on the red "X" you'll see beneath your blog link and it will delete the link, allowing you to re-enter it. We've all had that "oh, no" moment when we realize we've mispelled the name of our blog or worse yet, linked to the wrong post. No problem with InLinkz, just delete it and re-enter it. This is a time saver if you are the host of the party, as well as the participating blogger who won't have to waste time emailing the host asking that their bad link be deleted.

2. Another great feature of InLinkz is you can put an "end date" for submissions or entries into the party. This will definitely come in handy for this blog since I've been having a problem each week with MM participants accidentally linking to the last Tablescape Thursday party instead of Met Monday. This can't happen now since submissions will be closed for the TT party that occurred days before.

3. For the Blog host, InLinkz gives you lots of options for how your links will look on your blog post. You can customize the size of the picture links. You can decide how many links will appear on each row and limit how many characters are used so your links keep a more uniformed and orderly look. You can even choose to be notified via e-mail whenever a new blog links up to participate.

I'm planning on using InLinkz for future parties here at BNOTP. That's a huge transformation and a great one at that! :-) Looking forward to seeing your fabulous Before and Afters!

If you are participating in Metamorphosis Monday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then just copy and paste the address that shows up in the address bar at the top, into the "url" box for the picture linky. You'll also need to put your e-mail address in, but don't worry, it will not be visible to anyone.

Please copy and paste the Met Monday logo button to your computer. Then you can upload it to your side bar and use it in your MM post so your visitors will know you are participating.

Please link back to the host blog, Between Naps on the Porch. This is important because it helps those who are visiting your blog, find the other wonderful "Before and Afters" posted for this Metamorphosis Monday.

Please do not add your link below, until your MM post is actually published to your blog.
