Her Name is Paper

meet paper!!! she is my new sphynx kitty!!!! i got her last week and i have not had a chance to get some decent photos of her. she does not like to sit still for the camera nor does she look at it half of the time. i was able to pull these photos out and decided to use them.

she is about 10 years old and is very affectionate. she sleeps with my boyfriend and myself in our bed, under the covers. she is just the cutest little grumpy old lady and we love her to death. 

we had been looking for a sphynx but were not sure if we wanted to have a kitten. we thought it might be a little more reasonable and a little more of what we were wanting if we were to have an older cat. so we were so lucky to find her. she is great!

Sphynx Kitties : Jemma, Jacoby, Opie

i am super excited for this weekend!!! my boyfriend and i are going to take a look at the purrbalds cattery to find ourselves the perfect sphynx kitty. we have been looking online at the kittens and cats that are available and have fallen in love with the following: jemma, jacoby and opie.

jemma has a tiny bit of hair which is pretty unusual for a purebred sphynx kitten. but she is just adorable.

jacoby has a gorgeous tuxedo-style print on his skin that is just too cute!!!

opie, as you can see, is pure sophistication. the way she sits is soooooooo nice. she is a really cute kitty!

we are super excited! i have never seen a sphynx cat in real life and so i must admit that i am a TINY bit nervous to see how they look and how they feel. we've had a devon rex and they look similar as far as the ears are concerned... but it's the rat-like tails that i'm most nervous about.

Sphynx

sphynx kitties are pretty cute. i have been searching through KSL to find one that i can give a home to. i was going to post some of their images but they're not as high quality as some others that i found on weheartit.com so of course, i had to add these...

but these cats are so cute. i love love love the first one. he's white. and perfect. i would love to have that cat. my boyfriend and i are setting up an appointment with one of the breeders in our area to take a look at some cute kittens.

i have never seen them in person and to be honest, i'm a bit nervous about their tails. they look like rat tails. and i don't know how i feel about that. BUT he tells me that when you hold them, they feel like a warm water bottle wrapped in a towel. so i'm excited. i will for sure have to let you know how it goes and how creepy [if at all] they are. ♥

tomorrow is friday. and can i just tell you how much i ELL-ohhh-Vee-eEE that idea? i do. i love it.
