Shooting

this weekend, i want to go out and shoot. i have a few ideas of some rad places that i will get some nice shots from. so i am just excited for saturday to roll around so i can spend the entire day outside, taking pictures.

i love taking pictures of landscapes more so than portraits or anything else. landscape can be so amazing. i will get some fun pictures and add them to my blog again. you can see my previous post of some fun pictures i took up in salt lake.

nikon coolpix l100

my boyfriend is the best. we are looking online right now for a new camera for me. i want a nikon coolpix l100. we're just trying to find the perfect one, and then we're going to go for it.

wish me luck! and i'll be back to tell you all about how much i love shooting. this summer is going to be a dream with a new little camera to love.

Water Wedding

these photographs are from a series of cancun wedding pictures taken by photographer Juan España. he is working on a new topic of photos and going in the direction of "artistic destination weddings". you can find more of his work here. Photographed in an underwater cave called cenotes in the middle of the jungle in mexico, i love how these images are both playful and absolutely gorgeous, too.

i would love to have beautiful and really unique pictures like this. it would be really fun to have them around. i love photography. i need to sit down and get some of my prints up and online. i love them so much! i had such fun developing the photos. and oh how i miss the dark room with 20 or so enlargers, bins to develop and the little auburn lights surrounding the room. ***sigh***

one day, when i have a huge house of my own, a dark room will definitely be present. i can't wait!
